Problems viewing the new 10News graphics? Click here for help!

We want to tell you how much we appreciate your feedback on our new look here at 10News.

Since we launched the new graphics look earlier this week, we've heard both positive and negative responses, and we're listening to all of them.

For instance, we've made some of the fonts larger on our weather forecasts after hearing from you.

Another issue we're hearing a lot of is that some of the graphics are being "cut off" on either side of the screen.

Knoxville attorney to mediate TVA ash spill class action lawsuit

A Knoxville attorney will serve as one of two mediators in a class action lawsuit tied to the TVA coal ash spill in Roane County.

More than 800 plaintiffs are suing TVA over damages from the spill which dumped millions of gallons of coal ash from the Kingston Fossil Plant into the surrounding community.

A federal judge ordered Pamela Reeves and Rodney Max to serve as joint mediators in the case after the plaintiffs and TVA agreed the attorneys would be a good fit with the case.

Saturday marks 4 years since TVA ash spill

Saturday marks four years since a massive spill at the TVA's Kingston Fossil Plant unleashed more than a billion gallons of coal ash into the Emory and Clinch Rivers.

After a year and a half of dredging the ash out of the water, crews stopped in the summer of 2010 and intentionally left a layer of ash at the river bottom.

In November, the EPA announced it had reviewed all three options in conjunction with state environmental officials at TDEC and approved the plan to let sediment naturally cover the ash.
