MTSU & Roane St. Comm. College team up to help students | News

Some East Tennessee community college students now have an easier path to completing their bachelor's degree.
Wednesday, the presidents of Roane State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University signed a dual admissions agreement.
That will allow qualified Roane State students to be enrolled at both schools, while they complete their associate's degree at Roane State. They can also continue to pursue their bachelor's degree at MTSU.
The school leaders say it will give the students access to a lot more resources to help with their success.
"They'll have access to additional library resources, they'll have access to additional counseling. They'll have access to professors at MTSU. Students might say, well we have access to going to their football games and other things." Dr. Gary Goff
Roane State Community College President
MTSU is also hosting a True Blue Tour reception from 5-7 pm Wednesday night at the Knoxville Museum of Art for prospective students.
