Andrew Baggett's 35-yard field goal in the
fourth overtime gave the Missouri Tigers a 51-48 win over the Tennessee
Volunteers in a Southeastern Conference nail biter at Neyland Stadium.

James Franklin threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns to help the Tigers
(5-5, 2-5 SEC) claim the first-ever meeting between the new conference foes.
Kendial Lawrence carried 21 times for 153 yards and two TDs in the victory.

The Volunteers (4-6, 0-6) have yet to notch an SEC victory this season,
despite 404 yards passing and four touchdowns from Tyler Bray. Mychal Rivera
finished with 129 receiving yards and a touchdown on 10 catches, while Justin
Hunter notched nine catches for 141 yards and a score.

Tennessee grabbed a 7-0 lead on Cordarelle Patterson's five-yard touchdown run
at the 4:08 mark of the first quarter, capping a nine-play, 88-yard drive.

Missouri's Jimmie Hunt returned the ensuing kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown,
quieting the home crowd.

However, the crowd got right back into it thanks to a couple of lengthy
second-quarter touchdown drives by the Volunteers. A.J. Johnson gave UT a 14-7
lead on a three-yard run at the 9:56 mark of the second quarter, and Bray made
it a 21-7 game on his 21-yard scoring strike to Rivera with 4:10 to play in
the half.

Missouri cut the deficit to 21-14 on a big 77-yard touchdown run by Lawrence
on the very first play of the second half.

But on Missouri's next possession, Lawrence lost a fumble and UT's LaDarrell
McNeil returned it 33 yards to the Tigers 30-yard line. That turnover helped
set up Bray's 16-yard touchdown pass to Alton Howard at the 8:03 mark of the
third quarter, which gave UT a 28-14 advantage.

Later in the third quarter, Lawrence atoned for his mistake with a one-yard
touchdown run to make it a 28-21 game.

The score would remain that way until the final minute of regulation, when
Franklin tossed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Dorial Green-Beckham on 4th-and-12
to tie the score and force overtime.

Missouri opened the extra session with a touchdown, as Franklin connected with
Hunt for a 24-yard scoring strike. UT answered with an eight-yard TD pass from
Bray to Rajion Neal.

The Vols found the end zone again to start the second overtime, as Tyler
Drummer scored on a five-yard run. But Missouri would even things up again, as
Franklin found Marcus Lucas for an 18-yard scoring strike.

After the teams traded touchdowns again in the third extra session, Missouri's
defense came up with a stop in the fourth overtime when Ian Simon broke up a
fourth-down pass. Baggett ended the game with his 35-yard field goal on the
Tigers' ensuing possession.
