TOSHA: Trench rescue investigation to take 4-6 weeks
News

(WBIR) An investigation into last week's trench collapse that trapped a man in Roane County for several hours will likely take several weeks.

The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Healthy Administration said its investigation could take four to six weeks.

On Friday - a worker was in an eight to ten foot deep trench when it collapsed. Rescue crews had to slowly dig him out to save his life.

OSHA does require construction companies to shore up the walls on a construction site. It's unclear whether the workers from Danson Construction followed those rules.
